The business was established in Benalla by Norman Todd and has provided funeral services to families across Benalla and the nearby districts of Chiltern, Mansfield and Euroa for generations.

In 1985, the funeral home was purchased by Kath and Terry Feehan, who continued its operation as a family-owned business. Their commitment to professional, courteous and dignified service has remained central to the way the funeral home operates. In 2012, their sons Justin and Damien Feehan assumed responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business, following several years working alongside their parents.

Today, NJ Todd Funeral Directors is supported by a dedicated team of full-time and casual staff, along with a local funeral agent in Chiltern. The funeral directors continue to serve a wide area of north-east Victoria with care, professionalism and respect.
