Arnold – Elaine Joan (née Johnson )

How does one explain Elaine in just simple words? As she was more that what words could ever say. Elaine you were not just the best neighbor and friend but you were like a mum to me. The many chats we had on the way to race meets, or when you would come across the paddock for a coffee and chat with mum.
Mum would pick you up from work and take you for driving lessons and so many laughs , the backseat drivers didn’t help.
But you had a heart of gold and welcomed everyone into your home. To have your love and friendship meant so much. I am glad I got to see you in Benalla a few years ago.You were always so proud of both Trish and Mark and spoke with so much love for them both. When Charmy come into all our lives I will never forget Elaine’s words the day they got married. “ oh look how beautiful she is but look at Mark Belinda he is so happy she makes him so happy finally “. And yes Charmy you do. They both have your strength. But now it’s your time to rest, blast Elvis as loud as you want and dance your crazy dance. Laugh as loud as you want , as it always made me feel at home and welcome.
Now you have your beautiful sparkling wings please don’t fly to high as there are ones that love you down here that still need to know you are close and just a flutter of a butterfly and we will know you are near. Rest easy now my beautiful friend and I am sure Val is waiting with a cuppa.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to Ron, Trish and Mark .
Always remember the beautiful funny lady with the biggest heart of gold, as she loved you so much. Xxx
