AVERY – John Collings

Born on June 28, 1934. Passed away April 28, 2021.

John died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Cooinda Village in Benalla.

A kind and generous man who dedicated his life to family and community.

A loving father to Louise, Rebecca, Emma, Justin and Charles, and father-in-law to Jimmy, Jeremy and Marnie. Most precious Grandpa to Thomas, Thea, Fintan, Dougal, Hugo, May, Ava, Marlo, Alia and Charlee. And beloved friend to Reina.

He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Mr John Collings Avery will be offered at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Arundel Street, Benalla on Wednesday 5th May 2021 commencing at 11.30 am. The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of Mass for burial at the Benalla Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Australian Red Cross in memory of John would be appreciated.
