At Peace with the Angels

God took our hands and made us part
He closed your eyes and broke our hearts
If Mum could have spoken before she died
These are the words, she would have replied.
“If life for me is truly past
I loved you all until the last
Weep not for me but courage take
And love each other for my sake”
