Born on July 11, 1927. Passed away September 27, 2019.

Passed away peacefully at Benalla Health, Aged 92 Years. Loved and loving Husband of June (married 66 Years). Much loved Father and Father-In-Law of Tricia, Peter and Kaye, Liz and Andrew, Ian and Anna, Graeme and Tanya. Good friend of Michael. Loved and adored “Grandfather” to all of his many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Roy/Dad, Grandfather, Where sending a Dove to you, With a parcel on its wings, Be careful when you open it, It’s full of special things. Inside are a million kisses, wrapped up in a million hugs, To say how much we will miss you, and send you all our love. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, until we meet again. In loving memory of my Husband Roy. I will treasure the amazing journey we shared for over 66 years. Such wonderful memories to treasure forever. Its now time for you to rest peacefully, While others do the heavy lifting. Please be up standing: A very special Aussie Larrikin has just left the building.

Funeral Notice

October 3, 2019 - 1:30pm

The Funeral of Mr Roy “Slim” / “Herb” Exton will be held at the Benalla Uniting Church, Carrier Street, Benalla on Thursday 3rd October, 2019 commencing at 1.30 pm. The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of the Service for Burial at the Benalla Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Benalla Palliative Care in memory of Roy would be preferred. Envelopes will be available at the Church
