  2. Joan you have blessed my life in the short time I have known you when your uncanny upbeat look on life, your humor and your inquisitive mind. You always looked for the positivity in life and enjoyed the world and all it had to offer you.
I will always remember you saying quite often ‘Well isn’t that interesting” in regards to the many topics we discussed and shared together.
I know how lucky your family and friends feel to have blessed by you in their lives. I’m so glad you got to acknowledge baby Jack’s entry into the world.
I will never look at flowers the same way again. They are still beautiful in their own right, whether they are freshly cut or have died. You told me “Lisa just because something begins looking vibrant and then beautiful then it begins to die that doesn’t mean it’s still not beautiful. It’s beautiful in it’s own way”.
    Rest easy my sweet Joan
    I will never forget you
    Love
    Lisa

  9. We are so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing and offer our condolences to all the family. We first met her through Brownies at Beaconsfield where both of us had daughters in the same group, also with the Officer Country Women’s Association and finally cycling, Joan would cycle to CWA, she was a lovely person to have been in our lives.

  10. Our greatest sympathy and condolences to Joan’s family and friends. A terrible loss of such a wonderfully committed and involved person not only in the life of her family but throughout her community. Joan was a really kind person, interested in everything, funny and just lovely. My husband Rob and sons Rhett and Garth went through Cubs and Scouts thanks to the involvement and work that Joan did. She was always supportive and helpful. On one of our wedding anniversaries Joan arrived at our house with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me and wished me a happy wedding anniversary as Rob, once again was away from that particular weekend. She went above and beyond everyone else and I greatly admired her as a friend. I hope Joan’s wonderfully calm and caring love will wrap around her family and friends as they grieve her loss over all the coming years ahead. She will be greatly missed by all.

  11. I first met Joan at a Mothers Club meeting of the Beaconsfield Primary and she had Malcomn as a toddler.. Eventually I went to CWA Meetings at the Officer hall with her. Over the years I have caught up with her. She became interested it the capabilities of the Info Tech of which she worked at to master. She said once that she had been interested in bike riding much sooner. Sympathies to her extended family she will be greatly missed.
