*Forever in our Hearts *

Our Mother Kept a garden,
A garden of the heart;
She planted all the good things,
That gave our life a start.
She turned us into sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream,
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem,
And When the winds and rains came,
She protected us enough,
But not too much, she knew we’d need
To stand up and be tough,
Her constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway
To last our whole life long.

We are my mothers garden,
We are her legacy.
And I hope today she feels all the love
Reflected back from us….

Cherished Mum of Carol & Will Hair

Dearest Mum, you were not just my mum, but my bestest friend.
We so enjoyed our camping holidays with you & John-boy. So many wonderful memories. It broke my heart to not be with you at the end, but we didn’t know that the end was so nigh. Your unwavering support meant the world to me. You had such a zest for life, never ending ‘just one more job’ to finish. Walk off into the sunset with John, I know he’s waiting for you. RIP darling, your loving daughter & son-in-law, Anne & Kelvin Manning. Adored grandmother of Steven & Kerry. Adored Nan of Latecia & Bailey, Felicity, Eliza, Scott, Britt & Reanna.

  4. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy & love on the loss of Marie. We will never forget her generosity, wisdom & support over the years especially at Shepp East. We shared those memories in later years camping on riverbanks from Vic to Qld. So many stories some sad but many to laugh about. Marie was so full of life & we had so much fun together. She laughed and sang in the mud & rain; shared food & wine & once & only once a bottle of Moonlight Madness!
    The courage and strength she has shown over the years will help you tomorrow and in the weeks to come. Please know we are here for you all.
    This verse reminds us of Marie:
    ” Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain”.
    May she rest in peace
