Bernie, as a long term State Government Nominee in the Mansfield Shire Water Industry, played a very important role in my appointment and ongoing engagement as GM of Mansfield District Water Board and former local water authorities. A very fine friend and respected industry colleague. RIP Bernie.
March 4, 2022Tony and Merrin Nolan were saddened to hear of Bernie passing he will be remembered as a great friend of the Nolan family
March 13, 2022Adrian Cummins talked me into helping him cart hay for his father in 1971 at Merton at the then very attractive rate of 5 cents per bale. We used Bernie’s old Ford V8 truck with no pick up loader or elevator. The going rate for working with Titch Crocker and Joe Hutchinson was 2 cents a bale with a 1951 Austin truck, pick up loader and elevator.
