Tributes
  1. Bernie, as a long term State Government Nominee in the Mansfield Shire Water Industry, played a very important role in my appointment and ongoing engagement as GM of Mansfield District Water Board and former local water authorities. A very fine friend and respected industry colleague. RIP Bernie.

  2. Tony and Merrin Nolan were saddened to hear of Bernie passing he will be remembered as a great friend of the Nolan family

  3. Adrian Cummins talked me into helping him cart hay for his father in 1971 at Merton at the then very attractive rate of 5 cents per bale. We used Bernie’s old Ford V8 truck with no pick up loader or elevator. The going rate for working with Titch Crocker and Joe Hutchinson was 2 cents a bale with a 1951 Austin truck, pick up loader and elevator.
