We have lost a good friend, tireless volunteer and great competitor. Rob always gave the maximum to his rogaining and orienteering endeavors whether he was competing, organising events or teaching others. He is greatly missed.

Very sad news to hear that Rob has had his last adventure. We greatly enjoyed his company and generous sharing of his knowledge and enthusiasm for Rogaining with the Warby Bushwalking Club a few years ago, he quickly became a friend. Our condolences to dear Annie at this very difficult time, and to Rob's family and friends.

Rob, curse youve left us.
Even when visited in hospital rob had that attirude that made you believe he would overcome his malaise.
I remember the days we did the aus. Rogaine champs and unsafely we dropped our packs and did a big circuit unencumbered. Always had a smile . Vale old friend, leighJuly 24, 2024 4:54 pm
It's with great sorrow that Helen and I heard of the passing of Rob Caldwell. We stayed with Rob last October and enjoyed a bike ride with him at Reefs Hill. Little did we know that Rob was unwell and fighting the battle of his life. Rob was a great competitor and enjoyed orienteering. He was infectiously enthusiastic and loved helping people. He will be remembered fondly by all those who came in contact with him. RIP

My condolences to Rob's family and friends. Annie I would love to give you a big hug if I was able to be there.
We only knew Rob for a short time but we were blessed to have done so, for all the reasons mentioned above and in the Livestream.
