Our dearest Mum-Granny,

You were our greatest champion, celebrating every accomplishment, no matter how big or small. You stood beside us through every trial and every triumph, always believing in us, even when we struggled to believe in ourselves.

Whenever life felt overwhelming, you were there to help pick up the pieces with unwavering love and patience. You were our compassionate voice of reason, always listening without judgement and gently encouraging us to see both sides of every story.

Your kindness, wisdom and unconditional love shaped the people we are today. We will forever cherish the lessons you taught us, the memories we shared, and the endless love you gave so freely.

Though our hearts are broken by your absence, we take comfort in knowing your love will remain with us always. We will miss you more than words can ever express.

We will forever be looking for you amongst the flowers, where your beauty, gentleness, and love will always remind us of you.

Thank you Mum,

To a woman who has worn a thousand hats - nurse, teacher, taxi driver, cheerleader and so much more.

Your unconditional love has been the constant in my ever changing world.

You have celebrated my victories as if they were your own and held me through my defeats with unwavering support.

Today and always l will celebrate you; not just for what you have done but for who you are.

Your love is the greatest gift I have received.

Cherished and deeply loved always.

Your Jilly. X

Dearest Marg,

Thankyou for our last goodbye.

“Nursing is an art;

and if it is to be made an art, it requires as exclusive a devotion, as hard a preparation as a painter’s or sculptors work;

for what is having to do with a dead canvas or cold marble, compared with having to do with the living body the temple of god’s spirit?

It is one of the Fine Arts l had almost said, the finest of the Fine Arts.”

(Florence Nightingale)

Special to many through your art.

See you Anon,

Love Les
