  6. I (Marg) have this vivid memory still after many, many years. It’s the day Pat arrived in Australia. John had already been here a while, and finally Pat joined him; they married and went on to have a wonderful family together. There we were, standing in my parents’ kitchen, my Mum trying to introduce me, Pat smiling nervously, John as proud as anything!
We all also remember how enterprising John and Pat were – particularly John with his ability to take on almost any career and give it a red hot go! In all his busyness, he also managed to live a life of faith in God, and influence many in that way.
    What a wonderful life!
    Condolences to the whole family…
With love from Cliff and Judy Blowers and family,
Dale and Marg Cockayne (Blowers) and family, and
Phil and Jenny Blowers and family.

  8. Grandpa, you were the best grandfather any grand child could ask for. From spoiling us, to loving us dearly you played your role as a grandfather perfectly. Words can’t describe how much you meant to us. So many great memories of you will always be remembered. As much as we are all going to miss you around, we are all so glad that you are now at peace and free from pain. You are now with our heavenly father and we all hope to see your face again some day. Love you forever and always.

  12. I would like to pass on condolences To the Hazelton Family from my family the Walkers we offer our condolences and rejoice that pastor John is in Heaven now with Jesus and we will all see him again one day. I would like to say from myself that I remember when I first came to the Church in Portland that Pastor John and his family were at and I started coming there with my children Pastor John taught Bible studies it was a foundation study when you first become a Christian I learned so much from the Bible study that he taught it was very crucial for me as I didn’t really know my Bible that well and those bible studies taught me so much about the Christian life about how Jesus wanted me to live my life and how important the bible is, those studies were guide posts for me, I never forgot and all those years at church taught me so much, God spoke into my life in so many ways thank you Pastor John I will never forget how much I learned from you and how much I enjoyed Church with you all.
We are thinking of you Pat and all the family at this time love to Pat and Family from Walker Family
