  5. Rest in peace Cheryl. You lived life with such warmth, kindness and joy. I remember a couple of years ago when you travelled over to Chiltern by yourself from SA and trundled around town on your scooter saying hello to everyone! You were a friend to everyone young and old and you will always be remembered by those you knew you.

  9. It’s hard to believe I will never hear you coming up the driveway banging on happily and calling ‘hello Doc’ as he excitedly ran around to greet you…he will miss you too. I will miss hearing your unmistakable gruff but loving ‘hello Leslie!’ as you walked around the corner, and our knowing looks at each other rolling eyes when someone was being annoying. You filled our life with your presence and it seems quiet and dull here with you gone; a piece of our world no longer here. You were always the biggest supporter of my music, and Musos Mic up would never of been so successful without you there singing along to my original songs knowing every word, bringing snacks and encouraging all the artists. You never failed to tell me you loved me, I wish I had said it more; and while you weren’t here every day you were just down the way, now you are gone our world feels more empty, we are left with a hole that can never be filled, a stillness in our mind that can never be restored.
RIP Cheryl you were one of a kind we will miss you dearly, but you will always be shining in our memories, a beacon that only wanted happiness for us and radiated love for us whenever you were around.
    Your favourite son in law.

  12. The world has lost someone so incredibly special and I have lost my Mum. Cheryl Janetzki was one of 10 children and had 2 kids of her own. But her family was much larger than that because everyone who met her loved her and she treated everyone she met with a smile on her face and a warmth in her heart. Until we meet again
