Devoted and loved mother and mother-in-law of Gavan & Mandy, Peter & Sue, Kerrie & Rob (Lee), Gayle, Sandy, Joedie & Liz.
Adored Nan of Matthew & Maddie, Kellie & Matteo, Sam & Miko, Nathan, Scott & Chelsea, Molly, Todd, Maddison & Wyatt and Old Nan of Finn & Augie, Gotham, Bodhi & Benji.
Very special wife, mother, nan, old nan & friend.
A wonderful life, enjoyed by many who will be very sadly missed but always remembered with love.

Service
March 23, 2023 - 11:00am
The Funeral of Mrs Joyce Irene “Mickie” Lakeman will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Arundel Street, Benalla next Thursday
23rd March, 2023 commencing at 11.00 am.
The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of the Service for Burial at the Benalla Lawn Cemetery.

Sending Mickie's entire family love and strength at this very sad time. Sorry we were not able to be there but we were able to watch the streaming of Mickie's send off. With sincere condolences from Petra and Barry Poole and family.

How sad it is to have to say goodbye to a dearly aunt who has so often filled my years with pleasure. Truly one of a kind whose laughter is unforgettable, who, for the whole of my life, made me feel special every time we met, whose views on life were unique and who helped me understand that I certainly didn’t have to follow the orthodox. Her life with and love of Flakus and their family is a memory to treasure. May she rest peacefully with Flakus forever.
