Born July 16, 1964. Passed away January 29, 2026.

David passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends on the 29th of January 2026.
Beloved father of Jack and Tess, life partner of Maria, cherished Pa of fur baby Maisie, valued friend to many.
His memory will live on through all who were lucky enough to know him.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Larkin on 29-01-2026.
Loved son of Leo and Ernestine (both deceased).
Brother of Clare, Jenny, Peter, Margaret, Ruth, Bernadette, Andrew, Elizabeth, their partners and children.
Forever in our hearts.

Dave, our special friend and family member over many, many years. We are so sad to hear of your passing, but know that you are now free of pain and physical restrictions.

1. Goodbye my darling cousin David, I will always carry fond memories of you in my heart and so thankful I got to see you again one more time last year.
   You were such a thoughtful and caring soul and so loved by so very many.
   I will always treasure your blue singlet and will forever remember the special 30th birthday weekend you organised for me in Wangaratta even though you didn't quite make it to the Sunday!

2. All my love to the Larkin family ,especially Maria and the kids.
   Have just finished watching the livestream of David’s funeral which allowed me again to witness the love that you had for him and each other.
   I’m sending you all this message from Timaru, South Island,NZ which in fact David and you guys came out here to attend Margaret’s 50th a few years back.
   I remember David for his “stare” or “look” following one of his below parr comments.! A real character he was, sharp as a tack!
   Being a fellow tradie I always enjoyed Dave’s company and even had the pleasure of going on the annual fishing trip up river with him,Leo and Peter.
