Vaughan passed away peacefully at Cooinda Benalla on Saturday 30th December, 2023
Aged 94 Years. (Formerly of Ouyen).
He was the dearly loved and loving Husband of Joy and Ruth (dec).
Much loved Father an Father-In-Law of Margaret and Ian (Burns), Graeme, Ian and Janine, Andrew and Amanda.
Loved and admired Step Father of Heather and Col, Neale and Joanne, and Geoff and Julie.
Adored Grandfather of Michael and David, Maggie and Remy, Lily and Oscar, Nathan and Megan and partners.
Ben, Emily and Josh, Jesse, Alyssa and Ethan, Jaclyn and Ali and partners.
Very proud Great Grandad to Matilda, Ossie, Emmet and Miles, Ruby, Ellie and Levi, Noa and Roxy, Darcy, Nate and Theo, Mila and Max.
Adored big Brother of Gwen (dec), Frank, Doug, Alex, Len, Brenda and partners.

A Thanksgiving Service to Celebrate the Life of Mr Robert ‘Vaughan’ Poole will be held at the N J Todd Funeral Home, 81 Baddaginnie-Benalla Road, Benalla on Friday 5th January, 2024 commencing at 2.00 pm. A private family burial will have preceded the Thanksgiving Service. To Livestream Funeral, go to the N J Todd Website and follow the Links. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Council of Victoria in memory of Vaughan would be preferred. Envelopes will be available . Those attending are asked to wear a touch of colour in memory of Vaughan.

  1. So thankful to have met Vaughan and enjoyed his friendship(with Joy) at Wangaratta, Benalla, Bowen and in phone calls. A wonderful Christian gentleman and we will miss him. Sincere sympathy to Joy and both families as we remember Vaughan with much affection.

    You were a great influence on me in my young years and still today especially in my work ethic. You were a great Uncle with a great character. Regrettably unable to attend your farewell. Rest in peace. Never to be forgotten.
