Passed away peacefully at the Royal Melbourne Hospital after a short battle, surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of Julie for 51 wonderful years.
Loved father of Mark, Jai, Jacinta, Regina, Daniel, Gerard, Peter and Patrick (dec) and welcoming father-in-law to their partners.
Adored Grandpa of Bree, Jake, Alex, Shannon, Jasmine, Thomas, Jaimie, Jared, Matthew, Alyssia, Benjamin, Jenna, Matilda, Xavier, Leah, Olivia, Gwen, Samuel and Henry and Great-Grandpa to ‘The Bump’.

Julie and family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for their exemplary care and support of John.

St Attracta's Catholic Church, 12 Cowslip Street, Violet Town, Victoria 3669
Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Mr John Michael Ryan will be offered at St Attracta's Catholic Church, 12 Cowslip Street, Violet Town on Tuesday 19th May, 2026 commencing at 11.00 am.
The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of Mass for Burial at the Violet Town Lawn Cemetery.
A video recording of the Service will be available on the N J Todd Website from 4.00 pm on Tuesday.
