Kay- Sr Ben. was a friend I always admired, respected and treasured as she was a true example of the “F.C.J. SPIRIT” we were privileged to have been exposed to during our years as students at F.C.J. Benalla.

Sr Mary Benedicta was a truly wonderful person that we met through my mother Margaret Doogue. We loved her visits to Perth and sometimes she even stayed with us in South Perth.

She is now receiving the well earned rest that she truly deserves.

Rest easy now Sr Ben in God’s Kingdom.

Sr Ben was a cherished member of our extended family and a beloved figure in our lives. Her kindness, warmth, humour and faith left a lasting impression.
Sr Ben often visited our parents’ home in Perth with our lively great aunt, Sr. Veronica Hamilton, and her gently practical approach and humour brought a special balance to their time together. She was also present at family milestones, such as reading at my wedding, where she added warmth and grace.
She will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt condolences to her family and the FCJ sisters. Rest in peace, dear Sr. Ben.

Dear Ben,

Dear Ben, Rest In peace. It was such a pleasure to spend quality time with you in Bristol, Rhode Island, in the Cottage, where we were tertians, on Narraganset Bay. I will always remember your practical assistance , our fun times, and our shared spirituality. Thank you for all we shared.
